TRAM 300 TOUR
STOPS IN PINE RIVER!

The
Pine River Information Center provided a
great rest stop for the Star Tribune
MS Tram 300 Tour on Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Riders pulled into the Info Center
beginning at 5:30 A.M. and enjoyed a morning treat before heading on to Wadena.
A fun and important ride on the Paul Bunyan Trail!

PAYS A VISIT TO THE
PINE RIVER INFORMATION CENTER!

Members
of the Twin Cities Cycle Club made a stop at the Pine River Information Center
on Friday, June 4. These members were biking from Nisswa to Backus and were going
to take part in the Tour Of The Lakes bike ride on the weekend. The club has nearly
2,000 members strong! The Pine River Info Center offers free water, wireless Internet
and clean restrooms along with some great historical displays from the Pine River
area!

CABOOSE
ARRIVES AT
HISTORIC PINE RIVER
DEPOT!

A
big, red caboose arrived on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the historic Pine River
Depot site! The caboose was obtained through the efforts of Heritage Group North,
a group dedicated to the restoration of the historic Pine River railroad depot,
the City of Pine River, the Pine River State Bank and the Pine River Chamber of
Commerce. The caboose will be displayed adjacent to the depot.

crowned Miss Pine River 2010 Hannah and her court will be attending numerous festivals,
pageants and community events during the coming year representing the Pine River
Chamber of Commerce.
